I was born in Toronto to a Canadian father and a Czech mother. I spent my first years of school in Canada before my parents moved us to the Czech Republic, where I stayed through the rest of school, through high school where I first met design, and eventually to university at Art & Design Institut in Prague.

In my first year in Prague I fell in love with design, with bartending, and with the person I'd spend the next five years with. While studying I worked remotely for KKI Creative, a Portuguese agency, and behind the bar at Martin's Bistro, where I eventually became bar manager. At ADI I was fortunate to study under Nicky Shushulov, whose approach to design thinking shaped a lot of how I work today.

After graduating, the restaurant closed and my partner and I moved to Lisbon to be close to her family while we figured out the next step. I kept working remotely, back into the Czech Republic and within Portugal. When searching for the next step we made a shortlist of European cities we could see ourselves in and Stockholm kept coming up.

In Stockholm I joined Megadeals, now rebranded to Njord, as an intern. The role grew quickly, and within the first year I was made Art Director. Since then I have been running visual production across a large share of the client roster, taking on work that stretched well beyond the original brief. Much of that growth I owe to working closely with Viktor Bolin, whose guidance over the past year and a half has been formative. I've been here since.
